Eligible to supervise Masters and PhD - email supervisor to discuss availability.
I completed my PhD in cancer research at the University Adelaide in 2004, where I identified a new receptor target for the novel tyrosine kinase inhibitor, inatinib. These key findings were patented by Novartis Pharmaceuticals. I transitioned into Medical Education at the University of Adelaide in 2011 as a case based learning facilitator, before becoming a lecturer in the Medical School in 2016. I am course coordinator for the Scientific Basis of Medicine in the MBBS and continue to facilitate cased based learning activities for first year medical students. I am also involved in curriculum development for the new Bachelor of Medical Studies/MD program which will replace the MBBS, with a particular interest in developing inter professional learning activities and a new model of team based learning.
